Measuring just 0.09 inches wide, only 2.3mm, the thin metal is supple enough for a good spring, but thick enough for an exquisite sting. Overall Rating I love this thing. Absolutely love it. It arrived quickly and was discreetly packaged. The rod is beautiful and shiny, I think it's really appealing to look at. I love the weight of it and the way it feels in my hand. It did have a very slight curve. That, however, is trivial and irrelevant to me. The handle and leather loop was wrapped in plastic, and the leather loop was also in perfect condition. I tested the toy out and, wow! Overall Rating Certainly made for business, not for newbies, this "rod" will produce deep thud and lasting ouch! Get for someone looking for a prop on a movie set. Otherwise, I advise that caution be the first rule and used by someone with some skills as a second. Easy to clean, has it's own carrying case, and a " loved the way it felt in My hand " handle.
